New Maybelline foundation...

Hello! So, I have been wearing makeup for over 2 years, but mostly just like concealer and bb creams etc. But tonight I got my first ever foundation! I'm super excited! So it's from maybellines new fit me line, and I got the one for a "dewy smooth finish" for dry skin. I also got the dream lumi (something like that lol) highlighting concealer. Has any one tried these products out? Opinions? How to use these products in conjunction?? 😊😊 have a great day!

I have the lumi I use it to highlight and I love it. it's very light so it's perfect to highlight. I haven't tried to foundation but I'd love to hear what you think about it.

I love the dewy smooth finish Maybelline Fit Me foundation. It makes your skin look so smooth and it looks sooo natural. I think its just as good as Loreal True Match and I think I actually like Maybelline Fit Me better! It has great coverage as well and it lasts all day. I have normal skin so I don't know how it is with dry patches but I can assume its good because it is a hydrating foundation. You are going to love this foundation, trust me. I use a damp Real Techniques sponge to apply mine btw.

I tried the foundation, and I honestly didn't like it. I have dry skin, and even for me, it was super greasy. The coverage was alright, but it never sets, so it feels very heavy on my skin. DEFINITELY need to set with a powder. It didn't last very long for me, a couple hours later I looked like a greaseball and it was separating around my nose and chin.

I tried the Fit me foundation and I found it was very cakey and didn't last long at all. I used to have normal skin at the time. I didn't use a primer or set it with powder so maybe that's why it didn't last long but in my opinion a foundation should be able to stay put for atleast 6 hours without looking muddy and getting all over the place even without priming and setting.

I've tried the Maybelline dream lumi concealer and I love it. it does such a great job at brightening the highlighting areas. it doesn't crease on me at all and reminds me of very much of the mac prep and prime pen.
