So I'm not big on my current mascara but I was wondering if there's a huge difference between how good the mascara is if it's a cheapy or a lil more pricy. What do you guys find works best? N what mascara do you lik the best for whatever side you choose.

I always use drugstore mascara. All the mascaras I own are maybelline. I like the falsies the best. The great lash, corassal (cat eye), rocket, and others work great too.

Honestly in my opinion and most people I know, there's really not too big of a difference. I think you just have to find the right ones, and there and hundreds or drugstore ones to choose from! And I've tried some expensive ones, and they weren't nearly as good as some drugstore ones I have (and still use) so just because its more expensive definitely doesn't make it better :p I'd suggest the rocket mascara (I think its from maybelline?) or the loreal voluminous :)

Drugstore. I haven't tried any high-end but I don't ever want to lol. I love my drugstore mascaras, they have never done me wrong.

I have tried many of the Urban Decay, Tart, Bare Minerals, and other high-end mascaras, but I can honestly say that I keep going back to Covergirl and L'oreal mascaras. Why spend more money on mascara when the drugstore has some of the best ones in my opinion.

I have a better quality (Dior) and a drugstore (Maybelline) and I love them both. I even think that the Maybelline works better than the Dior for a smaller periode of time. I mean, the Maybelline is really vibrant for a few hours (I don't know if that makes sense lol) and the Dior is less vibrant than the Mybelline but stays on perfectly for tje entire day. But I do have to say that the Dior one NEVER leaves clumps while the Maybelline one tends to do that a lot.

I pick Maybelline over Dior.

Well if you REALLY do research, most mascara formulas are the same from Urban Decay to Covergirl. (Unless it's organic). The secret is all in the brush.

So what I would say is to buy one high quality mascara, use it up, then SAVE THE WAND!! Use the wand for cheaper mascara, but don't throw away those wands either, mascara wands can be used for a plethora of things. Eyebrow brush, put coconut oil on lashes at night, semi-exfoliating brush, comb back baby hairs. Basically anything you need a small brush for.

So in the end:
NEVER EVER EVER IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WILL YOU THROW OUT A MASCARA WAND OR A LIFETIME OF UNEVEN EYELINER WILL HAPPEN TO YOU!!

Drugstore! I made a horrible mistake of purchasing TWO really expensive mascara's and I didnt use them much. They were dried up in a few months! Such a waste of money. Drugstore mascara's are really good. Also, you don't feel that bad when they dry up! :)

I have a handful of high end and a handful of drugstore!
Honestly, mascaras here are expensive. My favorite mascaras are by Jordana which I totally dig at $3.99, and another one by Prestige which is $5.99.
However, most drugstore mascaras people suggest start at $12.99 and up! I can't really wrap my mind around spending that much on drugstore! I rather spend a couple of dollars more, especially since I live by the swamps and its always hot out and get something that won't move if I rub my eyes. I usually like just purchasing the BareMinerals kits when they're on sale that way its not just mascara or buying something from Estee Lauder like perfume so a make up kit gets thrown in.

I agree with Paighton. Its all about the brush...the formulas really aren't that vastly different from each other. I love Loreal Voluminous mascara and have bought it countless times. While I have faves amongst the high-end I flat out refuse to drop $30 on one when I get the same exact results with a drugstore. That $30 could go towards a bunch of drugstore lippies or a high-end lippie if I so desired.

Definitely drugstore there are some high end ones that aren't even as good as the drugstore ones. I defiantly like the cover girl clump crusher or the maybelline falsies I found them better then the high ends
