Hey beauties! My honey yesterday picked up the Toledo ombre blush from MAC yesterday-- it's Azalea Blossom (a beautiful pink to purple ombre).

I'm having problems though applying it?? Does anyone else have this problem?? Or have any advice? Even swatching it hardly deposits any product onto my finger.

Thanks! xoxo

Have you tried it using a synthetic brush to apply? Its been a common complaint with this particular blush.

Oh I haven't! I think I've been using natural hair or at the very best a duo fiber. Thanks Shelley!!

Ahhh! Now I have an oily film on it, which is weird because I just cleaned my brushes. Now I have to scrape it offf...this blush is killing me!

I have worked with this product for the last 3 days doing demos. All I can say is you really have to load up the brush because it is quite light.

What did you clean your brushes with?

I clean it with my Shea moisture shampoo. It makes sense that an oil may be on them, although I haven't had this problem with my other powders before.

I'll try for a few more days, but if I can't get it to work I might return it. Since it was on someone else's card, can I return it in the case and with a reciept? I'm okay with store credit!

It may be the fact that you are using a shampoo that has Shea in it. I found that when I used shampoo to clean my brushes it left a film on my products and my brushes never felt clean. Baby shampoo may be a better option because its not as heavy, also I found that using face wash works great for washing brushes, especially face brushes.
