My whole family continues to comment on how my forehead and chin are terribly broken out! I am 15 and it makes me very insecure when I can't wear makeup (to unclog pores) and even when I wear makeup, the bumps on my forehead and chin are evident. My oily skin has now become patchy dry by the areas of my nose, my chin and above my eyebrow. Are there any masks or products or tips you recommend? Even though I have oily SENSITIVE SKIN, I have been looking up dry skin home made masks to use because I want this over with now. Please help!

I would go to the dermatologist

I wouldn't recommend home remedies, especially ones which contain stuff like baking soda, lemon, cinnamon or eggs.
I think you need a thick facial cream, something like Nivea blue pot moisturiser.
However, this could be hormonal or a change of weather. Is it humid or dry where you live? Has the weather changed suddenly? Are you on your period, just finished or about to start?
It's all well and good people recommending dermatologists, but many cannot get to them (like in the UK as you have to be referred by your doctor, which hardly ever happens).

The weather is very cold and I am on my period but I've always had bumps on my forehead for a couple of years, and I do have a regimen! But so many products don't work for me, I got a Clinique set for Christmas-- didn't work, neutrogena didn't work and now I'm onto Garnier. And okay I'll try Nivea.
Also, what is wrong with egg facials? I was planning on doing one.

Okay, this could just be a mix of hormonal and weather, as it is cold where I am too and I've been getting dry patches too.
I didn't say that you didn't have a regimen. How long have you been trying each product for? It can take a month to 6 weeks to see a difference.
From my experience, egg facials are extremely drying.

I recommend Eucerin. I'm SO sensitive to most cleansers, lotions and foundations. I use the night creme for redness relief(I don't need the redness relief, though). I don't believe Nivea actually has a face lotion, they are a good brand though. Neutrogena and Garnier didn't work for me. I use Cetaphils Dermacontrol oil-removing face wash, sometimes daily sometimes every other day. At night I use Ponds white tea face wipes. Then I use the night creme. How often do you exfoliate?

It's for the body, most body moisturizers clog pores easily. I did check the website just to make sure it was for the body, though!

It's definitely facial moisturiser, I wouldn't use it if it wasn't! Might be packaged differently in each country though.

Hannah- oh I'm sorry I wasn't insinuating you said I didn't have a regimen I meant is like, my face is clean, something's just not right, haha and I've used them for up to six weeks at least and oh really? Dang, maybe I'll try another one!
Kaleigh- I use a cleanser then the Garnier blackhead exfoliant every night, I also used a separate exfoliant on my dry spots but it didn't work. But I'll have to try out Eucerin. Shockingly, cetaphil broke me out.
I will also try Nivea out too! Thank you girls, I'm just so stressed sorry if I came across rude or arrogant!

No I would recommend a home remedy, with egg yolk and honey. Apply it to your face for about 20 minutes, do this twice a day or everyday. It helps me with all my facial problems!

Hannah eggs do work for some people.
because something doesn't work for you doesn't mean you shouldn't tell them not to do it because it can help there skin.
everyone's skin is different.
For example people say don't exfoliate more than twice a week but I do it everynight and it made all my acne go away.
not trying to be rude or anything just letting you know (:

I have the same problem, I went to the doctor. They have given me cream and pills and it's working pretty good. You should go to your doctor

Eggs don't do much due to being nothing but protein. Protein for the face doesn't apply to break outs or dry skin.

Only thing that works for me is a gel I got from the doctors which is called isotrexin? Or something like that, it's really good as it drys the spots out, however it does make your skin really dry😞 however like Yana I used to apply a honey mask to my face and it sorted my face very quickly!

Hi Sav! I am sorry for your frustration. I agree with many on the forum, if you have tried skin care regimens---and it hasn't helped, it's time for a dermatologist consult. The dermatologist can determine whether its hormonal fluctuations, the weather, allergies, etc.
take care!

Oh I'm sorry I meant lemon and honey!
