I don't know anything about hair, but I know this is a frizzy mess.

I would straighten or make do some curls or just crunch it up with hair spray and mouse.

Is it weird that I love your hair? I agree with Jenny though. Either straighten them or enhance them with mousse or with a small barreled curling iron. (:

I usually straighten it but I am trying to be nicer to my hair and use less heat.
Thank you shanae!

Anyone have any mousse recommendations

Maybe I'm using it wrong, but whenever I used that before it always made my hair feel hard

It has the tendency to do that. There are some that don't do that but I can't remember the name. Give me a second, I'll find it.

Herbal essence!

Work it through damp hair and then blow dry with a diffuser. Remember touching your hair creates frizz, so try not to touch it to much.

I'll have to try that!

You just have to test products out and see what's best for you. (:
Good luck!

Personally, I like curl creams over mousses/gels. I use the one by Not Your Mother's, though L'Or?al has a nice one too. You just need a small amount, gently scrunch it through your hair, and then either air dry or use a diffuser. Oh and to cut down on frizz a little bit, use a t shirt to dry your hair post-shower instead of a towel! It won't rough up your as much, just make sure you squeeze the excess water out, don't rub.

V05 do a good curl enhancing mousse that looks really good on the hair :)

I second Not Your Mother's kinky something curl cream :) it really helps styling nice waves/curls without the hard finish, although if you need more "control" I recommend Herbal Essences mousse (the traditional red bottle) :) apply a little bit and your hair will be very soft without frizz.

Use loreal frizz cream and make a sea salt spray! No heat needed your hair will look so natural and healthy but cute

Phylicia I'm African American. My hair naturally looks like the pictures, that's air dried after a shower. I normally straighten it, but I'm looking for ways to wear it curly

Thank you ladies, I'll pick some of these products up this week.

I prefer cremes over mousse for my curly hair. I found cremes made it less frizzy and not crunchy like mousse did.

Any recommended creams Amy?

Okay. I see that you have heat damage which is why I see that your roots are curly and your ends are straight. Try to refrain from flat ironing your hair. if you would like to wear it curly sometimes I would flat iron it once and wrap your hair every night to maintain it.

Now, on to three curls. You should try Shea moisture or eden or other natural hair care products for your hair. You can purchase it at Sallys or even at Walmart or Walgreen. Target have a good selection.

Look up YouTube videos of natural hair and you'll see a lot of gurus showing you what products they use and ways to make their hair even more curly etc.
