I bought these a couple weeks ago because the sephora I went to was out of the Dr Dennis Gross extra strength alpha beta peel that I went in for and they recommended these to me. I had a 3 pack of the Dennis Gross and saw a difference after using them. Then I got these expecting similar results. What I got was a red burning face! My face always turns red, I was once told I have reactive redness (whatever that means). I used these every other day for the 2 weeks I've had them and they will be going back. I'm so disappointed that they are not working out for me. They contain 46% alcohol which could be why they burn so bad but I know the Dennis gross also have alcohol but I did not experience the burn with them. Have any of you had a similar experience with the PTR pads?

Alcohol denat is not one of the friendly alcohols (the fatty alcohols are skin friendly). So I can understand why your skin reacted in the manner that it did. 46% is pretty dang high.

These are stronger hun , Dr gross has a step one and two , two helps neutralize the peel which is better for sensitive skin , these are more potent and will burn.

I've tried them and didn't have any issues. I don't consider my skin sensitive though, but it is acne-prone. I'm sure if you have sensitive skin it could irritate it. I kind of like them as they don't seem very drying to me. It does say to use them 1-2 times per week to start, so maybe every other day was just too much for your skin.
