Hi, I just turned 28. I was wondering if it is the right age to start using some anti ageing creams? I have dry acne prone skin...

When I sold Arbonne we were told to introduce anti aging products into the skin care routine at age 25 :)

I began using a serious night cream this year (I'm 22), but it doesn't have any special "super power" ingredients. I've heard that in the teens and early twenties those ingredients essentially just go to waste, but are great for preventative anti-aging in the mid to late twentoes.

I agree with mid twenty being a good age, though I am still a bit skeptical of "preventative products"

Yes, the earlier the better. I would start with a vitamin c serum and light moisterizer, an eye cream and a suncreen EVERYDAY on your face and neck. And a retinol cream at night several times a week or everyday if your skin can tolerate it (good for anti-aging & acne). A lot of people have to start slowly to acclimate their skin to it. And after you acclimate your skin to that, and if you're really serious. You can get a prescription for Retin-A (a stronger version of an over the counter retinol), which is good for anti-aging as well as acne (which is what is was created for).

Definitely start now. It's easier to prevent aging issues than it is to correct. I'm 26 and I just started using an anti-aging eye cream and and night cream. I wish I would have started before I started seeing signs of aging but I'm glad I caught it before it got bad. Some brands have skincare collections for both acne and anti-aging together. Murad, I think PeterThomasRoth, maybe Perricone MD.

I've used anti-aging since I was 15. Don't think there's too early of a start.

I think its good to start early I'm 22 and asked traci and she said its fine, I'm using a serum and I'm noticed the fine lines under my eyes start to smooth out I never believed that skin care made a difference but afyer seeing the change I'm hooked.

The earlier the better, once you turn 20 you really need to start taking measures to product your skin from free radicals and sun damage so antioxidants and spf is a must after 25 you can start using more things retinol is the number one goal standard for anti aging and it's benefits come with prolonged use, the longer you have use it throughout your life the better you skin will look when your older , and definitely a eye cream, eyes are the first place that shows signs of aging because of the thin skin so everyone should be using one if there concerned about wrinkles, crows feet and lack of elasticity in the eye area

Right on Traci!! Her advice is exactly what I practice. Antioxidants are your best friend along with spf.
