I think this is the right category:\

So I usually thread my upper lip but now to cut back on spending I've started to wax at home. It's quick and easy except two things
-do you have to wait until the hairs are a certain length? I just have some small hairs and they aren't seeming to get off with the wax

-the hairs that do come off leave the skin a bit red and stingy feeling any ways to relieve that quickly?
My aunt and her family are coming over soon and I don't want to greet them red faced lol!

For your second question... After I wax/thread my upper lip I put some pure aloe Vera on it and it's all better. :)

You're normally supposed to wait until your hairs are relatively grown out; if you don't, then, as you said, the wax won't grab all of your hairs. However, you can tweeze those no problem :)

Yes, they have to be a certain length. Like Hannah said, you can tweeze them! Aloe Vera works wonders.

4-6 growth before you can wax, best going to a salon shop and buying after wax
