Personally, I like unnatural hair colours like green and blue but the problem is that a lot of people stare. I was wondering if they were staring because its nice or if its weird.

People probably just stare because it is unnatural, when you see something you don't normally see you tend to look more. If you're deciding whether to die your hair or not, do it! If you like it, flaunt it.

Either or. It's all about personal preference, some people like it, some don't. All that matters is if you like it.

I've had unnatural hair colors and I found a lot of older people stared I'm sure they found it odd but do what you like not to please others

I like it. I've had fire truck red before lol. People stare for many of reasons, but you're going to be criticized regardless so do whatever the hell you want! :)

I'm honestly trying to figure the same thing out, I get sick of the outright staring sometimes, though I do find children's reactions funny - they seem to like it :p I think the looks might be a bit of both, some think it's pretty and some probably think it's weird

I have had weird, unnatural hair for about 7 years now, and everyone stares. Without fail. Most of the time, they'll also stop me and tell me my hair is beautiful/awesome/looks great or that I'm so brave for doing something like that. Rarely do I get dislike from the people who stare at my hair. Once, and only once, I had someone tell me that boys only like nice girls with normal hair and I was never going to find someone...I laughed so hard I cried. Here's the deal. With weird hair you're just going to have to get over the fact that people stare at it. It's going to happen and there's no stopping it. If colorful hair makes you happy, go for it. Most of the time people won't say anything anyway.

Lol Hannah ^ I agree with what she said. As long as you like it, it shouldn't matter what others think. The only reason I stare is because I wish I had the guts to do my hair like that! (:

I love all those unnatural colors I've been wanting to get a color like blue or green or orange for the longest time!

I personally love unnatural hair color. My hair is bright blue, people stare for different reasons. They like it or they don't. I usually get positive feedback but I assume if someone didn't like it they never said anything lol This goes along with Hannah's comment! She's got crazy cool hair lol.

Everytime I see someone with an unnatural hair color, I stare. Not because I'm thinking "What's wrong with them?", more like "Oh My Goddess I wish I could pull that off! <3.<3" lol. It's all about preference, I dyed my hair a burgundy/red and my grandma flipped on me saying I made a huge mistake. But also, everywhere I went, I got compliments on it :) So no matter what, some people are going to like it, and some people aren't. You can't please everyone Love, but you can please yourself :)

People stare, give them something to stare at. Personally when I had coloured hair I'd get looked at because I apparently looked "intimidating", however I don't think I was and I didn't care that people were silly enough to try and judge my attitude or lack of attitude based off a hair colour. Do whatever you'd like, not what you think others would approve.

Last summer I dyed my hair blue I really liked how I looked. People stared I felt weird and I was having second thoughts about my hair. After two weeks random people told me my hair was awesome, I guess they were staring at my awesome hair :) and if that wasn't the case too bad it's my hair. Now my hair is gray and I am planning to dye it purple in the future. If you like how your hair looks and feel good about it, don't pay attention to people just be yourself.

I stare at people with unnatural hair colours, sometimes because I'm literally just looking and observing it and other times because I think it looks ridiculous. I prefer natural looks but I'm never going to criticise someone for having unnatural hair

I've had lots of unnatural hair colors. People stare, but I would just smile back at them. It was mostly older people who stopped me to tell me they loved it!
Look at it this way: it's a great conversation starter! I made lots of good friends because of my hair!

Yesss!! Omg I LOVE unnatural hair colors! I'm usually too afraid to try anything besides red (or hot pink) but I love it on other people I think it's so cool.

I'm probably the minority, but I'm not a fan. I don't stare at people, and I would never say something negative to someone (I'm not a jerk), but it isn't my cup of tea. In my opinion (and this is my opinion only) there's a certain age where you grow out of the Rainbow hair phase. In high school, fine. Get down with your teenage rebellion bad self. As a working adult? Not so much.

Everyone I've ever known (present company excluded) with unnatural hair has been immature, with a chip on their shoulder about being "unique". I really dislike the whole vibe associated with it; but I'll admit I'm pretty conservative.

In the end, you do you. If you like it, have fun with it. It's your hair, not mine. ;)

I love unnatural colors!! I think everyone (besides me) should take the risk if they want! It doesn't matter what others think, it matters what you think!

I think that adults can pull off unnatural hair colors gracefully - and some professions it's accepted like more artsy professions like fashion designers, MUAs and hair dressers so even in adulthood I think it can still be tasteful and appropriate
