Hi ladies, I have dark skin on my neck and I want to know if there is any way of lightening it, either naturally or recommend a good cream. Thanks.

I use a retinol body cream and glycolic body wash it keeps my neck and body the same tone as my face and use spf daily

Sometimes darkening of the neck can be a symptom of pre-diabetes. It's usually on the back of the neck and can continue to the front. You may want to google other symptoms and see if you have any of other symptoms &.possibly take a blood test. If all is ok, then I agree on a vitamin c cleanser and vit c treatment. And of course, sunscreen (everyday) of at least an spf 30 to prevent the sun from darkening the area and reversing all the improvement you're making. Most women only take care of their face with skincare & makeup and totally neglect their neck. Then when you're 30 you can have a neck of a 40yr old. I like this one because it has a moisterizer built in.

I agree with Marleen B...another thing to consider is that it could be hereditary as well. My father was Puerto Rican and much lighter than me and I remember him having the same thing along his collarbone and neck. He tried lighteners and they did much of nothing but would darken on occasion if he didn't keep the area well hydrated.
