You can put your hair up in a high pony tail, leaving a strand of hair out just enough to braid it, so braid that strand of hair and add it to your pony tail with a bobby pin or with another hair tie.

You could always braid your entire ponytail or braid random sections of it! If you have bangs/fringe you can braid them and pin them back or French braid them away from your face and put the rest of your hair up in a ponytail (:
