So I recently bought my first pair of velour lashes. I was super excited to get them since they're so hyped up, I bought the ones where you can customize your own lash. I used them for the first time last night and I hated them. They were super heavy and uncomfortable on the lash line. I am not new to falsies but typically I wear invisible band lashes. These lashed however have an extremely thick band making them super uncomfortable I paid $35 for them and was super disappointed. What are you guys.

Weirdly enough I had a similar problem with the Koko lashes for having a really thick band. I'm not a fan of lashes like that, I find that they cover my eyeliner and don't look that great on, also thicker bands are much stiffer than normal bands and harder to bend to your eye shape, I think. I don't blame you for disliking the feeling, but it sucks to have wasted $35 on something you won't use.

I think they look great and I love Velour lashes. The thick band is necessary because there are so many lashes.

I personally love thicker banded lashes. I don't feel the need to wear eyeliner with them. I curl my lashes with the falsies while I'm wearing them, to make the band attach to my lash line. It feels 10x more comfortable that way. Plus with thicker bands after the first wear the band stays in the shape of your eye! I guess it's all just preference. They look lovely on you though.

@bailee I figured it had to do with that but they're just so darn uncomfortable they make my eyes feel so heavy. @sonya P Thank you I'll try that, I don't think curling them would be the best thing thouh, they're already really curly and basically touch my eyebrows lol

They don't look bad when your eye is opened, but closed...eh, too thick in my opinion. Your shadow looks great by the way! ;)
