Black hair dye? Would it fade.

So my roots are growing and my natural hair color is black... The rest is fading into brown from my previous hair color... My question is if I dye it black would the black fade or would it just keep growing black like it normally would.

I dyed my hair black and it faded to my natural hair color (medium brown)
so yes you would have to keep re-dying it.

Your hair is fairly dark right now to begin with, and I find black doesn't fade like regular colours. If anything it loses its shine. I think after one or two dyes you should actually be fairly set till your roots grow long enougj.

If you want it to fade as little as possible I would go to a salon to get it done if you can't afford going to a regular salon look for Cosmo schools in the area normally the price is going to be cut in half compare to regular salons
