I would just blend out the edges a little more other than that I think it looks great!

ok so I would do it like this (btw what you've done looks amazing don't worry :) )
-apply the primer
-use a pencil liner on the top lid lash line and smudge it slightly
-apply a dark grey eyeshadow up to the crease
-apply liquid liner to the top lid lash line (start from the outside starting with a thick line and then getting thinner as you go inward)
-apply mascara to both top and bottom lashes
-apply a shimmer eye shadow from the crease of the eyelid up to beneath the eyebrow
and that's basically how I do my smoky eyes... its really all about the smudging I think :)
im thinking of putting a pic up of my smoky eyes attempt if you wanna see what the finished thing would look like :) x

If I were you, I would try taking my finger, gently tapping a shade of grey slightly lighted than what you have on, and then gently tapping that on to the eyelid. It should help differentiate the lid color and the crease color.

I agree with Em... I think it looks amazing, maybe try keeping the black on just the lid up to the crease and then using a brown to blend out into the crease... I really like your original attempt though

Tone it down on the lid a little. It will make your lid look smaller if its to dark and blend out the edges and near the crease. You have pretty eyes btw !

looks splendid to me bird, looks awesome and your eyes amazing! I wish I had eyes that colour. I feel like I can't pull off this look cos my eyes are nearly black and I just feel its too much... but yeah I'd be pretty happy wi that if I were you :-)
