So my hair is really long and it makes it hard for myself to do a sock bun. By the time I roll to the top it looks reallyyyy loose. Any tips or another way to get the sock bun look? thanks in advance.

I picked up this tool at Ulta and it's awesome. It makes a much tighter bun. http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod6481426.

Well take your hair doughnut or if you want a sock (longger sovkers work better, just cut the tip and roll into a doughnut shape) then put your hair in a high-ish ponytail them put it through the sock so that its agonist your head looking like the world biggest hair tie. the lean forward and fan your hair around it. the hair should come from the middle out. then take hair ties and place it over your hair snug under the bottom of the sock. now just take the hair that's sticking out and gather it into a ponytail looking thing in the back with out actually tying it. then wrap it around the bottom of the bun and secure it with a hair clip. you cab nake it as tight or as loose as you want.
