Ok. So I am NOT a morning person. So I get up, shower, throw on some makeup and head to work. My makeup never looks good. But when I take my time on the weekends, shower, dry my hair, let my moisturizer and primer sink in, then apply foundation- it looks 100% better. Do you guys let your moisturizer and primer set in before applying foundation??

I do a pattern and it works really well! I do my hair and make up at the same time! If I'm curling my hair, I will start with primer on my face, then curl a layer of hair, then I will do concealer on my problem spots, then do another layer, giving my concealer time to sit, and so on and so forth. The whole routine takes me about 30 minutes so it's very quick and my makeup lasts so much longer! Hope I helped :)

I do other things whilst doing my makeup. So as my moisturizer, primer and foundation set it I'll be doing things like hair, brushing my teeth, moisturizing my lips, etc. I do my makeup in the bathroom though so that's why. Try it out, works wonders and helps manage time

Yes. If I want it to not look dry and flaky, I always let the moisturizer or primer sink in, it needs some time, and perhaps you need to rub it a certain way or massage it in to get the full effect of the product.

I find doing this always helps me give a nice glow with concealer and foundation on top. It's all about making the skin underneath look as good and as moisturised as possible.. This is ESSENTIAL for people with dry skin!
