For years I avoided browns because I thought brown on brown would be boring. But if you have highlights a dark brown in a crease is SO so pretty on my brown eyes and I add bronze when I go out

I have brown eyes, and unlike the many people who saw dark purple looks really good I find that it only makes me look like somebody punched my eyes... But really it depends on your skintone, hair color, and perhaps eye shape.
I suggest playing around with some colors that you think look good on you, and maybe some coppery, pink, or blue colors that's what me and my friends with brown eyes prefer on us. :)
