I LOVE cut crease shadow! I don't really think it's a trend though. It's been around for a while, and never really disappears, just comes to the surface every once in a while.

Yeah it's definitely not a trend at this point, it's a technique that'll never go away. It's gorgeous!! I'm 100% jealous of those who can wear it because it always looks so fierce.
