You can apply most foundations thinly. A good key is to look for foundations with the words "luminizing, sheer, natural" etc in their title. Avoid "creams" or "mousse" in screw top jars. These are usually heavy. These will most likely be light coverage. BB Creams are also very sheer light coverage, but often a little too light. You can thin out any thick foundation you already have with some of your moisturizer. Drugstore or high end? The more I know the more specific i can be with you.

For me... It works to make any foundation light enough. If I wanna go really light tinted moisturizer is the way to go.

just use cosmetic sponges. they're at any drugstore! it applys it thin becuz I obsorbs all the excess foundation!!
