In my opinion and own research on how I grow hair long it just depends in your genetics really trim your hair every six weeks or so don't use heating products don't use jar styling products ummm don't overload on hairspray and purple jai looks good on everybody

There's no way to grow your hair faster than it already does. A good diet and a biotin supplement can help your hair grow stronger, but if you want long hair fast then why not try extensions? Clip in extensions are fairly priced, I use those when I'm trying to grow my hair out and can't wait.

^ I back what Celeste said. You can't grow your hair faster. You can only prevent it from getting damaged and breaking off before you reach the desired length.
Memo though: cutting it does not make it grow faster. If your hair growth is relatively slow, cutting it every 6 weeks is WAY too often, and you will end up cutting off as much as you grow. Just don't frazzle your hair. I get mine cut maybe twice a year and rarely have more than 2 or 3 inches of length removed (last time, I cut it from hip to waist, but it was becoming somewhat unmanageable at hip length).
