Does exfoliating prevent whiteheads?

Exfoliation only gets rid of the dead skin cells left on your skin, it will help to stop the layers to pile up and help stop them, but it will not stop it completly. It's only a component in getting rid of acne. If you exfoliate your face too much, it can actually cause more acne because its trying to replenish the oils and cells the exfoliant took too much of.

Yess ma'm, so yes I sugget exfoliating your skin but not too often, since it can harm your skin.

How often? With a exfoliating face cleanser? And on the other days just use my normal face wash? Haha sorry just trying to figure out why im breaking out in whiteheads! Thankyous for the help :)

Exfoliate twice a week on days you're not exfoliating you can use a treatment and ask if you want. When I have a whitehead I sterilize the top of the Whitehead and use my extractor gently to take the top of the white head off and then I sterilize that area. I'm not a big fan of putting alcohol on the face so to Sterali's I'll use something like seabreeze without alcohol in it

I used to have whiteheads around my mouth and chin.. I know, gross. But I fixed it by changing my cleanser to Cetaphil and applying GEL moisturizer instead of lotion moisturizer. Clinique and Kiehls is the best!! Hope it helped!!! Check out my Instagram! At yejikiim
