False Lashes Adhesive

Hi. I've started wearing falsies and was wondering if there were any products that can remove the adhesive more easily. I'm using Ardell's clear adhesive. I was expecting the adhesive to sort of "melt" away with the facial cleanser but it was more like the sticky stuff I had to peel and scrub away. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestions, ladies. I'm sooooooooooooo bummed out. I lost quite a few of my own lashes trying to peel of falsies. I was using Ardell's water proof adhesive. I got Duo clear adhesive. Oh I should've got dark! All I was thinking of at the store was "find one that's not water-proof" as I believed that's what was so gummy and sticky about the adhesive. Anyway, I need to let my lashes grow back. I think I'm gonna take a break from falsies for awhile.
