My hair is a dirty blonde and I have been wanting to dye it brown for the longest time. I'm fifteen though, do you think that I'm too young? And if I do how often would I have to touch up my roots? Thanks!

Well, personally the first time I ever dyed my hair I was 14, and I dyed it blue. I think that if your parents are okay with it and you want it then it's absolutely fine.
Touching up your roots has to do with how quickly your hair grows, but I'd say that every 6-8 weeks is probably a reasonable amount of time.

I don't think you're too young
And you just touch up your roots whenever your roots start to bother you I guess haha

I started highlighting/ coloring my hair when I was like 8 but that was because my aunt was a hair stylist. Anyways, I think if its fine with your parents then go for it. As far as root touchups, everyone is different; I have to touch my hair about every 3-4 weeks but that is because my hair does not hold color well. But, some people can go longer. It really just depends on how your hair is.

I was about your age as well. Most girls in my area start around 12. I think you're about the right age and if your parents are cool with it then go ahead and do it.

If you and your parents are fine with it, then go for it. If you feel uncomfortable because of your age, then don't.
I was like hannah, and at the age of 11 I begged my mom to dye my hair blue. We went and bought a cheap blonde bleach kit from splat and it ended up awful lol. But I've been dying my hair every since.
I am very lazy with my roots, but generally for people who have a drastic color change, like blonde to dark, roots show a lot more. But you can just get your roots done, you don't have to dye your whole head every time. I think 4-8 weeks is usually the time frame for most people, it really depends on your hair growth, your schedule etc.

I didn't start coloring my hair until last year, age 21, when I bleached my hair platinum blonde. Now I dye my hair a sort of burgundy red color.
My hair grows absurdly fast. When I was blonde, I was bleaching my root growth every week. Now, I do my roots every month. You probably won't have to do that so frequently.

It's up to your parents if they allow you. I was in 7th grade when I started dyeing my hair. Roots should be touched up every 4-6 weeks.
