I got a tattoo on my arm, not very big, but my work makes me cover it up and all the cancelers I own are to sheer.

I haven't tried it, but I hear the hard candy glamoflauge one is amazing and works to cover up tattoos.

My sister has to cover her wrist tattoo at Disney land. She uses nyx foundation because it is FULL coverage. Because her tattoo is also a blue based black, she uses a color correcting primer first and then the foundation. Works pretty well. :)

Kat Von D is made to cover tattoos. It can be pricey, but it's well worth it! :)

Dermablend and the KVD are good - dermablend has an add where they cover zombie boy's whole body with products since he is tatted head to toe.

I have to cover mine for dance performances and I swear by Dermablend. This stuff doesn't budge at all.

Hate candy glamoflauge for a more inexpensive but still great option

Both dermablend and kvd have videos of them covering tattooed bodies. But the key to covering it with any concealer or foundation is to color correction first. If your tattoo is red, cover it with a green concealer or a bit of green eyeshadow. I personally like kvd's more, and use it to cover my sister's tattoo, it works fantastic and doesn't transfer or look noticeable. It's on her shoulder/back area, so it gets touched a lot at events where it needs to be covered. Dermablend didn't really impress me, but I only got a sample from a friend and not my own bottle, so I didn't get to experiment with how it applies more than a couple times. But it was just very noticeable on the skin, whether it was covering redness on my cheek or a tattoo.

I have a black and grey tattoo and the Hard Candy was not able to cover it, no matter what I did. Save your money and go with one of the other options.

Such a shame they make you cover it... I'm actually trying to get qualified in 'temp' tattoos (http://www.beautyisintheair.com/finding-ways-of-making-your-own-temporary-tattoo/) but henna isn't as popular as it once was!
