So I usually take a good two hours to get ready and I'm going to vidcon and we're going to have to wake up at like 4 and get to lines and stuff at 5 ish so I am going to need to get ready very fast. Do you guys have any tips for like speeding up doing makeup or anything like that? Thank you <3.

Do you know what's taking you so long to get ready?

I just do a lot lol I go all out when I do my makeup. Like I do full face. I don't really think one thing is making it take forever I think it's just the combined time for all of the stuff I do.

I would just use basics like concealer, powder, eyeliner, and mascara.

Whenever I'm in a rush I usually try to avoid anything that requires precision as it'll take loads of time, so I don't do any eyeshadow looks that require sharp lines or winged liner and sometimes I won't even contour. To save time, I typically keep everything pretty simple and only work with neutrals on the eyes so it's not obvious if I messed up but if you like doing bolder things, a colored lipstick will work. I'm not sure if this helps any, but good luck :)

I don't understand why it takes you so long.. I do my entire face (mostly) and it only takes me about 30 minutes on a good day.. Just choose a simpler look for that day and cut down on the products you use.. Or wake up earlier.

I remember from an earlier post you wanted to dress elvish and such. Maybe you can just do concealer, foundation, and cheeks for a natural look because I always think that elves have natural looks. Just a thought. 😊

For me to speed up my process of makeup I do everything in steps so for example when waiting for my primer to set I do my eyebrows then after adding my foundation and blush and contour I let that all sit in and add my eyeliner then set my foundation with loose powder add my setting spray and finish with my mascara and I'm on my way try to use as much time as you can and have fun at vidcon

I feel you. I like to take my time when I get ready, it's like a zen thing. Plus, I love full face, awesome hair, etc. Honestly, I would do something even simpler than this. I wouldn't do anything on the eyes besides mascara, and I would pick your outfit/do nails etc. the night before, and if you can sleep in a heatless hairstyle (you can find many on YouTube) so you can just wake up with your hair done.

I completely understand you if I do my makeup I am going all out full BEAT face. I want to say it takes me a full hour and 30 mins to just do my face. in simple I have not found a way that really helps cut time I either go a full face or makeup or none at all I'm not they type that only does one thing. but I do have a few tips. either cut something out you're doing (which you sound like you Don't want to)
but have in mind what look you're going for.
when I know I'm going my makeup I will take I everything I'm looking for and out it on top on my vanity and my brushes its so much easier to just go product to product instead of looking for them as you go.
also I know this sound crazy but have time before and take your time , when it comes to makeup I've learned its easier to take your time and do it right the first time instead of having to fix a mistake. makeup mistakes are the worst lol.
and just have time before because usually if you're on a tight time most people just won't do it, or at least that's how I am. lol
those slimed down 20 minutes for me.

I agree with all the girls above. Make sure all your makeup is laying in the order you're applying it and cut back on things that need a lot of time (so I wouldn't wear eyeliner for instance). Have fun!

Ahhhh thank you all so much! And :D that's a good idea to set every thing out :3 I think I'll skip eyeshadow and just maybe put a brown in my crease like just slab it in there bcuz eyeshadow does take me a good amount of time but I can't live without liner XD so I have to do that but I'll definitely just like try to work faster D: lol but thank you all sooooo much :3.
