I have big brown eyes,... But I can't help but notice that in photographs taken by others, my eyes look soo tiny. Any makeup tricks?

In your crease add a darker eyeshadow. Line your upper lash line with eyeliner. And apply white eyeshadow to the corner of your eye :)

Use brighter eyeshadow on the middle of your lid, and in the inner corner, use a nude liner on the waterline, tightline your eyes (and if you are using eyeliner try not to use black). Also, this might not be makeup, but if you use stuff like circle lenses or dolly-like falsies, it can really help. I like Korean/Japanese makeup where they do the 'tearbag' thing, they have tape for it or you can just use makeup to slightly contour your eyes to make them, it really makes your eyes look like they're bulging out.

You could also use lower false lashes and bring them down a bit than your natural eye, another asian makeup technique but I feel like it can look weird when people look at you close up. Also if you look up Zoe Deschanel makeup, I feel like she drags down brown eyeshadow on her lower lash line and smokes it out, it really makes her eyes stand out especially if you use nude eyeliner.

To make eyes appear brighter and bigger avoid using dark colors, use a white eye liner (pencil) and use that on the bottom water line and in the inner corner of your eyes (you could also use white eye shadow) , use a high lighter under your brows (this'll 'highlight' the whole eye section!) I like to use a brown on the crease of my eye lid; this really makes the eye stand out just that bit more (Ariana Grande uses dark colors on her crease btw) also use mascara.. mascara opens up your eyes :)

- get your eyebrows done! it lifts the eyes a bit more! well gives the illusion of
- curl your lashes and apply mascara
- NUDE eyeliner on the waterline, white is to harsh in my opinion, it just doesn't look right or natural
- highlight the inner corner

I have the same problem! Anabel and the others summed it up, but I would really recommend not bringing black eyeshadow underneath your eyes if you and them to look larger. It really doesn't look right in yearbook photos too (on me)

If you add a dark shadow right above your crease and then add an even darker shade between the lid and the crease that you created
