Careful using cinnamon on the face. it can really irritate the skin. make sure to do a patch test before actually putting it on the face. I personally don't trust diy face masks and would much rather buy one in stores. I love the Mary Kay botanicals face mask.

Agree with Katelyn. Also honey can cause irritation as well.

Katelyn is right.. I used cinnamon on face and scrubbed a bit and I got red rashes.. It was so itchy..I applied ice cube and it healed...so cinnamon..I'm very scared of it.. you can use lemon juice and honey..maybe sm baking soda it will clarify and give you smooth and glowing skin:)

Don't use lemon, nor baking soda or even worse, both, on your skin. You can get a bad reaction because it is a strong mixture and it can be very harsh on you face.
You can try GlamGlow masks or Origins Charcoal mask :)

Personally, glamglow gave me a horrible reaction! I love my Aztec healing clay. It makes my face so clean! Just moisturize after use!

Unflavoured yoghurt has worked amazing for me, I used it twice a day for twenty minutes. All my acne was gone and so were the acne scars and my face was so clear and glowing, I got those results in 2 weeks

I'm with Jackie on the Aztec Healing Mask. I mix with it apple cider vinegar and it does a great job at purging pores. So much so that I can only handle it about once a month. As Jackie suggested definitely follow up with a moisturizer...just be sure it doesn't contain active ingredients.

I love sheet masks. I've used a whole bunch of kinds, but there are some at CVS or Walgreens I like by LookBeauty. I think it's 10 for $3 which is good as I use then a few nights a week.

I picked mine up at the health food store. Vitamin Shoppe and Whole Foods carry it.

The thing about home remedies is that you have to always check the grade of the oils, mix with an appropriate carrier and have the correct ratios for the recipie. You should never directly put essential oils on your face. A simple diy face mask I like is 1 egg whipped with 1tbsp heavy cream. it leaves my skin soft and smooth.

Make sure if you're going to use cinnamon that you test it on your skin first!! I did that one time without testing it and my face BURNED and it was red and puffy after I washed it off. Even after it was off my face it still burned. It also hurts coming off. Home remedies that I have found out too don't work that well and cause me to break out and feel like my pores are clogged. I suggest just getting a face mask at the drugstore. They sell decent ones for a couple of dollars.
