Hi girls, any of you tried tretinoin for acne? any comments? I started last night and I'm hoping for positive reviews about it😊

I've used it for years. I did have to take Accutane though as it didn't do much for me 😞. It's also really drying which I hate. Accutane totally cleared up my skin and many years later it came back and spironolactone has been awesome and no side effects at all.

Yeah. It worked really well for me and I didn't really have any side effects. I used it for like 5 years. Just make absolutely sure you wear sunscreen at all times and under no condition should you go tanning (which is extremely unhealthy as it is).

I've been using it for the past year and it wasn't enough to solve my acne problems. I had to add in an oral pill that seems to be really helping. it's called spironolactone. I will post a pic of my face with the first month I've used it. You can tell my acne is pretty severe so I don't think the cream was enough for me :(

Hi emily, wow I'm impressed with the progress of your face, I'm so happy for you!! I have the same problem as well and only it got better when I had my fraxel laser treatment done twice. What also helped me is using the clarisonic facial brush, it worked lile a miracle on my skin! you should give it a try😊 I still get my monthly breakouts from my period but its definitely not as worse as before🙏🏻
