How to get rid of acne scars?

Growing up my skin was very dry with the occasional hormonal break out. A couple of months ago I got put on a high dose of hormones for ten days in order to decrease a cyst I had in one of my ovaries. This caused my skin to break out like crazy. It's back to normal now although not as dry but I'm left with some pretty awful acne scarring. What would you recommend?
