Hair color help?

I got these extensions that are a few shades lighter than my natural hair color, so I was thinking about highlighting my hair to match the extensions so they don't look awkward. These extensions I can't dye, I wish I could but I can't. Here is a picture to help decide if I should or not. Should I get the highlights?

Can you return the extensions? I think that getting a subtle ombré/baylage would help your extensions blend better since it looks like you're mostly using them for length. it is going to look unusual no matter what you do because for blondes, the underside of your hair is normally darker than the top.

If you clip them under half your hair it would mix in with your natural hair and it would be like you've got highlights
