Hi, I read a little article on Pinterest on how to find your perfect blush, I don't have the link otherwise I'd post it, I don't know if it's true or not but the article suggested to chose a blush similar to the colour as the inside of your lip, I haven't tried it since I don't apply makeup (only for special occasions and that's not that often)

Hope you enjoyed this little tip :)

That's really interesting, I've never heard that before. I had to look at the inside of my lip lol

Inside of my lip is pink...hmmmm...

I'm not sure that's the best tip, since the blush that makes me look really good is coral and definitely the inside of my lip is not coral haha I think it depends more on the undertone of your skin :)

I hate pink blush on me so this won't work lol

I disagree with that, the blush I wear is Cliniques robust rhubarb chubby cheek stick and the inside of my lip is definitely not that colour haha.

I once heard you sorta pinch your cheeks and use the color similar to that just a shade or two toned down.

I think these are all just guides for beginners to try since getting into makeup in general can be a lot at once.
I think they're all fairly good tips though. At least somewhere to start

Supposedly shades that flatter your lips will also flatter your cheeks...some people prefer pinks, corals, reds, or even browns. I like to use Too Faced Sweetheart in berry - there's kind of a mix of light, medium, and darker berry shades that I like in it so I get all 3. :-)

I don't think so. Because otherwise that means I would look like I belong in the Elizabethan era
