Kevyn Aucoin contour book vol.II
It's the best color I've found to recreate a natural looking shadow, and it looks good on every skin tone!! It might look ugly (some might say), as the color isn't as chocolatey as the usual contour palettes, but let's not forget that shadows in real life are gray, not brown! I can't stress that enough.

Some use creams, some powders, I've even seen some tutorials where they've used eyeshadows! Still, others just use lighter and darker shades of foundation. Right now, I use Anastasia powder palette, but my daughter uses the NYX double-ended cream stick and she loves it! You may have to try a few things and decide which look/feel/application you like the best. Good luck! :-)

Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder is awesome it's the original sculpting shade and product years before the hype and palette overload. If you have a different price range that would be helpful. City Color contour Effects 2 I find to have a similar shade to Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder at just $13 but in some boutique you can find it for $6. :)
