I don't know what category this goes under but I think makeup. My teacher nominated me for face painting for a in class party on Friday. We are doing a day of the dead theme because it is a Spanish class. I need some face painting ideas that would be easy to do on other students. Thank you!

Traditional Dia De Los Muertos makeup includes what is now known as sugar skulls, common factors such as the "stitched" mouth (actually teach) as well as the sunken eyes and bright celebratory colours. Although I'm not sure how appropriate that would be, seeing as Dia de Los Muertos is a very important holiday for those of the cultures celebrating and honouring their deceased loved ones

If there are a lot of you keep it simple like the attached photo. It takes a good amount of time to do tons of detailing. For perfect shaped circles around the eyes use the cap of a brow pencil or eye liner, apply product to cap and then stamp on.

Bring shadows to create a different look or to shape the face :)

Thank you for the ideas girls!

Sugar skulls are very fun and easy! Here's mine from this year. Start by making black circles around your eyes. It's also good if you do a white face paint, up to you. Make your mouth lines and your nose. Thats the basis of it, then is the fun part. You can decorate the face whatever way you'd like! Use gems, glitter, or fun colors. Also make sure you do flower petals around the eye shape. The designs are all up to you whatever you find easiest! hope this helped :)
