Hey beauties! Lately I've been having issues with my scalp. It's super dry which is causing gross flakes and an awful itch! Does anyone have any remedies or products they'd suggest? Please and thank you!

Henna is very good for that if you don't mind the dye.

Also try powder fenugreek mixed with water till you get a paste constancy and leave it to sit a while preferably overnight and then apply to the scalp and massage it into your scalp a bit and leave I on for a few mins then wash out, I know it takes dandruf off but I don't know if it also cures itchiness

It could be that your scalp is so dry because of the harsh sulfates in your shampoo. I had the same thing. I switched to sulfate free and my hair doesn't itch / is dry. But whenever I try a shampoo with sulfates it does ;p It might be the same for you! :)

I agree with Reny. I have bad dandruff and coconut helps clear it and moisturize it at the same time. It leaves your hair so nice as well 😊

For my psoriasis I've used selsun blue and neutrogena t-gel shampoos / the selsun blue has menthol in it too so it feels soothing but if you are allergic then don't use it.

I don't have dandruff it's just dry from using the wrong shampoo and conditioner for too long and it's caused my scalp to get flakey. They were sulfate free shampoo. For some reason every sulfate free shampoo I have ever used drys my hair out. Where would I get the Aztec clay mask? I really just need something to moisturize my hair and scalp I feel like the flakes will go away once my scalp is properly moisturized. I just don't think my skin and hair likes the sulfate substitute that a lot of sulfate free shampoos use.

I agree with Diana. Neutrogena T-Gel works great.

Well it worked well on my psoriasis which was dry scaly patches on my scalp - it helped reduce the redness and dryness of my patches and was recommended to me by my doctor when I was first diagnosed.

Hey ladies I just wanted to come back and thank you all so much for your help! I tried the T-Gel and so far it's working! My scalp isn't near as itchy and my flakes are all just about gone! I can't even being to express how awful it felt having to itch my head in public and worrying about if flakes are going to be showing. Thank you so much for your help! ❤️

If the T-gel stops working I suggest jojoba oil, it has worked for my husband. I am sure it is easily available in the US.
