Hi beauties, I'm having a problem with chronically irritated red skin around my nose and on it. It's always been pretty red, but I have not been diagnosed with rosacea by my dermatologist.
As of relatively recent, I have also gotten inflamed pores in the area. My dermatologist thinks it's just hormonal. Unfortunately, I'm having a problem accessing the medicine she prescribed me.
Do you ladies know of any affordable or drugstore products I can use to help clam my skin and reduce the redness? (Not makeup to cover it, but skincare to actually help it.)
Thanks so much in advance for your help.

You could try Aloe Vera, it's always helped me in reducing the inflammation/redness. Also, using a honey mask and cucumber mask can sooth the area as well as moisturize it :) I hope this helps and I hope it goes away soon!

Use cooling products and avoid any potentially irritating products.
I would stick to just washing your face and moisturizing, and avoid any other products, allow your skin to breathe. Once a week use a cucumber or aloe mask (refrigerate first) to reduce inflammation

Aloe is very soothing. My toner is actually aloe based and I love it. It's thayer's witch hazel toner, I also have an aloe Vera product from La Lune Naturals. The least ingredients for preservatives. The most pure aloe is very light and runny and not a gel, so watch out for those.

Thank you Tessandra, I will certainly try out your tips :) I really appreciate the advice.
Ashley, that's a very good point, maybe I'm treating it too harshly. I will certainly try that out, thank you!
Livi, I've heard great things about that toner, I'm actually using the very similar Dickinson's witch hazel, but now I'm thinking about trying Thayer's. Thank you for the advice on Aloe, I was wondering why my gel wasn't doing much. I'll try that out!
Would you ladies happen to know of any soothing/cooling oatmeal, aloe, or cucumber masks I can purchase? Preferably something under $20? I'm currently using Freeman's Avocado and Oatmeal, but it's more for cleansing. If not, I'll just make a home made mask :)
Thank you again!!

I use a moisturiser from aveeno with colloidal oatmeal in it which has vastly improved my dermatitis, really good for calming any inflamed areas 😊
