Hey beauties - I'm looking for product reviews on any la Roche posay products but I'm mainly thinking of trying things from the effaclair line for my oily/combo sensitive acne prone skin - any recommendations or reviews would be much appreciated :) thanks!

I have the Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment with 5.5% benzoyl peroxide. I find that it takes 8 days to eradicate any unwanted visitors. It's an OK product but not useful on cystic acne. It doesn't dry out my skin but then again I don't apply it three times a day as suggested. I like using it under my makeup but don't reach for it as a nighttime treatment because I like using something more powerful like a serum.

I've used the effaclar duo treatment. I found it excellent for keeping skin clear and it definitely helped at keeping blackheads away while using it. It was also great for keeping shine away too. But after I finished the tube all my blackheads came back and the shine. So its definitely a product that needs to be used constantly. It was also great at keeping spots from forming and reducing the size of current ones. I recommend it!

I also forgot to add the the Effaclar Duo makes a great primer if you want to mattify the skin prior to makeup application.

I have the Hydreane day cream and I really like it! it gives my face a good hydration without feeling heavy. I've been using it for about a month now and my skin feels amazing!

The effaclair bb blur is fantastic. Been using it for a couple of weeks and it's fabulous. I use the gel cleanser too, and it works very well.

Thanks Bonnie - I know I was looking at the bb cream too and it looked interesting - I might have to try it if I end up loving these products :P and I didn't get any retinol products so hopefully they are good :)

Let us know how it worked out. For the retinol I saw immediate effects, so it looked like fillers to me, but not much long term.
