Hi, no need to write in caps. To get rid of the split ends you have to cut, there are no other ways. After that, you have to wonder why you got them in the first place to try and prevent it.

There's no way to "fix" split ends. I'd go for a trim at your hairdresser sooner rather than later and just say you need the split ends gone but you want to keep as much of the length as possible.
If you leave it then they'll just split further up the shaft and you'll need more cut off the longer you leave it.

The girls are right. there is no fix for split ends except to cut them off.

1. Take a section of your hair
2. Twist it around. Your split ends should be sticking out.
3. Use scissors to cut your split ends.
I hope this works. X

I agree with Nathalie there is no other way than cutting them off - products may claim to help but they cannot repair the dead ends - you cannot bring the dead back to life - sorry to say but your only option is to chop off the dead ends and start with healthy hair and keep it healthy with moisturizing shampoo n conditioner and a weekly hair mask and avoiding heat (hot water or hot tools) or use a heat protectant if you do use them.

Everyone else said. You can trim every few months, that's what I'm doing as we speak. I trim a good amount too and my hair just grows back more.

If you want a quick fix for the time being, mash an avocado and put it on your ends from mid shaft down overnight. It will act like a glue to bind the ends together for a couple of days. But that only buys time. You'd have to get your hair cut by the end of the werk.

Don't worry about the hair length because if you trim the split ends off it actually grows more :)
