Ways to keep your hair straight?

I have naturally wavy hair and occasionally straighten my hair, in which case I'll go 3 or 4 days without washing my hair instead of 2. I know not washing is what makes my straightened hair greasy, but its so annoying to have to rewash and straighten my hair, does anyone have any tips to keep my hair straighter for longer?
