So I'm going to an all day concert and I need to look as fly as can be for my boo The Weeknd cx lol. Anywho, I want to look fly throughout the day. I know that there are certain ingredients that help with the longevity of your makeup such as oil-free products bc this helps with your makeup not slipping and sliding throughout the day.
I have been using the LA Base Pro primer by Lancome which is silicone based, but I feel as though when paired with either the Kat Von D Lock It Foundation, Lancome Teint Idole foundation or any other foundation, it only causes my foundation to slip off my face.
I currently have these primers:
Stay Matte Primer and Fix & Perfect Pro by Rimmel
And as mentioned, La Base pro by Lancome
I currently have these foundations :
Kat Von D Lock It Tatttoo
MakeUp Forver Mat Velvet+
Lancome Teint Idole 24h
Becca Ultimate Coverage
and
Mac's new Full Coverage foundation
Is there a pairing of these primers and foundations that'd be best?
Or would you recommend a different primer?
What else can I apply to ensure my makeup doesn't do the electric slide on my face? x:

A setting spray! Kat Von d setting spray is my favorite one! It helps my makeup last all day esp with hot weather 😛 and her foundation is my holy grail! Both of them combined would be great!

I usually get it from Amazon! I've ordered it from their website once but the delivery time was super long in my opinion

I feel as if primers aren't advertised as being specifically for prolonging the wear of your makeup/ anti-shine they're really just for making your makeup look smoother, which really has to do with the silicone. I wouldn't use a silicone based primer, really. I am only familiar with Kat Von D's foundation, and I have to say it's just great by itself. I have heard a lot of good things from her setting spray as well, so I think those two would go good together. I believe that setting sprays don't exactly make makeup last longer, but only make it more smudge-proof. Fixative sprays are for prolonging the wear of your makeup since they contain alcohol which helps the makeup really adhere to your skin. A famous fixative spray I've heard of is Ben Nye's Final Seal if you would like to try that, but I think Kat Von D's setting spray is pretty good if you don't want to buy anything new. I learnt most of this from Jacqueline H. here on BL, hopefully I remembered most of her information correctly! I think she also said that the KVD setting spray has characteristics of both a setting spray and a fixative spray so that's why it's so great. Also, I've heard around here that the MUFE Mat Velvet/Lancôme Teint Idole 24h is actually good for combo skin types compared to oily/extremely oily, so I think the KVD foundation would last longer than those if you had to choose between the three, sorry I don't know much about the rest!
