You can try a green concealer and primer to cancel out some of the redness!

Conceal it. What is it? A birthmark? You should speak to a dermatologist. It might be rosacea. Also exfoliate it 1-2 times a week :)

When you say it "does this" I get the impression that this comes amd goes. If so, that means your skin is reacting to something. If that is the case, don't cover it. I'd discuss this with my doctor.

It isn't a reaction to anything because it's been there my whole life and I only recently started wearing foundation. I have fair skin and red hair so I do get redness in the face. I thought it might be Rosacea too!

It really does look like a reaction. It could be to anything, soaps, minerals in the water, laundry detergent, clothing, air quality, food etc.
Skin generally doesn't get red and blotchy for no reason. Rosacea as far as I know doesn't only go in one spot, it goes all over the face or body part that's effected.
Either way, a trip to the dermatologist and an allergist is never a waste of time.

I've got a friend who has rosacea only one own cheek and it has been tested and it is rosacea. If you go and see a dermatologist they can help you ;)

It looks like Rosacea to me. I suffer from it myself, and it looks almost exactly like that. As the girls said earlier you can buy a green concealer, mix it with your foundation and apply, then apply a second coat to neutralise the green. There are also foundations on the market specifically for disguising redness, IT cosmetics sells one that I've heard good things about.

Especially if this is not a reaction then a Derm should be consulted. It is important to understand our skin and so while I agree you can conceal it, I would seek long term care from my doctor. Good luck to you.

Try a green color corrector/primer and then skin tone concealer. NYX has a color correcting palette

I have the same thing. Mine is Keritosis Pilaris. I also have bumps and redness on the back of my arms. I conceal it by using the It Cosmetics CC Cream in fair, and Maybelline FitMe stick foundation. It covers it well!
