So I'm very confused on my skin type. It seems as if my skin is oily but it dries out very fast. Like my skin becomes very oily when I do nothing or around 2 hours after I do my makeup. I use moisturizers but it never really helps. It only causes me to break out which sucks! Can anyone help me with my skin type? Not sure if I was very specific I just really need help you guys!

It sounds like you could have oily/combo acne prone skin - so you need a gentle moisturizer that won't clog your pores - I would recommend trying jojoba oil and/or a cerave or cetaphil moisturizer made for oily/combo skin also your skin could be dry but it gets oily when it's not moisturized enough to compensate so definitely use a good moisturizer every day.

It's possible that you have extremely dry skin that's so dehydrated that it produces a large amount of oil. I would try using a moisturizing mask like the origins drink up or glam glow thirsty mud as a night time moisturizer for a while and see if you notice a change or if these specific products will break you out :)

I have a feeling that Erica is right. Your dry skin is overcompensating by producing a lot of oil at once and then it quickly depletes leaving your skin dirty and pores open which allows your makeup to seep in and cause acne. What is your current skin care regime? Maybe we can see what you can do to change and resolve your skin problem! =D.
