Sephora has only high end and Ulta has both. If you are looking for mostly high end, I'd check out Sephora, but if you want more of a variety of both, Ulta is your best bet. I've never been to Ulta, but I have seen their websites. That's something else you could do (: Check out their websites and make sure they carry the products you want haha.

I think it really depends on the person. I prefer ulta, their point system is better and I tend to use both high end and drugstore. If you tend to use more high end, you'll probably prefer sephora.

I wish I lived in the US! Our Sephora in the UK closed and never returned in about 2006-ish, wish we could have it back! I have to go over to France to find the nearest Sephora. The shipping prices to the UK is extortionate!

As people above said, ulta has drugstore and high end. sephora is just high end. and sometimes, ulta is cheaper than sephora, but only on a few things. also, ulta has better deals and point system.

Sephora, the workers actually know what they're talking about with the products, can make great recommendations, color match, etc! I frequent both stores, but their employees' knowledge is what really makes a difference for me.
