Hi girls. The ends of the brushes ( the rubbery part) is becoming sticky and kinda gross. Has anybody experienced this with their brushes? Its sticking onto dust and dirt. And sticks to my hand when I hold it. Shud I toss it away? Help?

Have you tried washing the ends and then swabbing them With rubbing alcohol? I have a few things that are rubbery types like that and that's usually what I do.

I second rubbing alcohol. It might take a couple of tries and maybe try to leave it stood upside down while it dries? Hopefully that should help

I've had their purple handled eye brush set for 2 years now, none of them got like that. I wash them after 2-3 uses ( I rarely wear eyeshadow anymore) with baby shampoo and warm water, then air dry on a hand towel. That sucks that they are "sticky"! That would drive me nuts. If the rubbing alcohol doesn't work maybe you could wrap the rubber parts with something? electrical tape?

Thanks girls. Yeah. I think I could try to save them with rubbing alcohol.. If it doesn't work.. I will wrap them sticky parts with something. Kinda sad to throw them away though. The brushes I got were the eye set and I only had it for 2 years. That's odd. I will try these methods and update if it works.. Thanks!! ❤️
