I have a few contouring items in my stash but for myself I don't find it necessary to use every day. I actually learned/discovered that I have a natural contour to my face already so I just make highlighting a major focus instead. For me it translates far more natural and realistic than going full force with the contour/highlight/blush routine. If done correctly it can make a difference in your final look depending on what you're trying to achieve overall. A very light hand is needed and if you can apply in natural light even better. I made the mistake in applying in my bathroom and lets just say when I hit outside I look like I wearing big dodo stripes on my face. Not pretty at all.

Tami I bought one of those wet n wild contouring duo to see if it compared to Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder but I wasn't pleased with it at all. I'm sure you'll get the hang of contouring but it's not a must to do. Everything Shelley shared with you is great advice. :)

Have fun Tami and if you ever want another option at a lower cost there are two that I did find that were similar to Kevyn :)

I bought the same one after seeing it on a YouTube video, but I didn't like it. I bought the one from e.l.f contour palette and I love it. I will post a picture tomorrow to get natural light.
