I only wear powder on my face. But I'm looking for one that won't break me out! Something that isn't too drying or too cakey. I'm trying to find a good one to control my shine.

Try the Rimmel London stay matte powder! Also the Clinique loose powder.

The Rimmel Stay Matte actually made my skin dry and I didn't like it that much. I prefer the maybelline fit me. It's a natural finish, but works well at controlling oil and shine.

Plus the packaging is way better on the maybelline. The rimmel literally snapped in half when I dropped it. It's made of a cheap plastic material, but it's only like $4 so you get what you pay for. The maybelline hasn't broken on me and I've had it for such a long time (though there is like nothing left anymore) it's only about $6 so bit expensive!

I love them both. I have oily skin so maybe that's why the Rimmel one hasn't dried me out! The Maybelline one I like but it doesn't do as great of a job at mattifying and controlling my shine it seems.

Really? Maybe it's because I have dry skin, but I find that the Maybelline did a great job at mattifying and controlling my shine haha! Must be more for dry-normal skin types lol!
That reminds me! You could also look into getting oil blotting sheets. I got some from ELF, but there are many drugstore brands out there. It is great because they are very affordable and I just have to grab one out and it removes all the excess oil throughout the day without adding extra makeup onto my skin.

I was ustny Rimmel Stay Matte and it was ok, but now I have one from Inglot matte pressed powders and I love it, you have different transparent shades to choose from and it didn't break me out (and I have acne prone skin) :)

I use the rimmel London stay matte powder too and I LOVE it. Its super cheap and I haven't had any problems with it this far. I've used it for about two years now.
