I am in desperate need of a good lip moisturizer or plumper. I have been using ChapStick and Burt's bees but the skin on my lips just peel off when I use those and they're always dry...help! :(

For a natural lip plumper, I'd go for anything with spearmint. From memory, spearmint is an irritant to the skin and causes minor swelling (nothing painful, but it does work!). As for lip moisturiser I'd recommend paw paw ointment, its great for everything. Add a few drops of spearmint oil to the paw paw and you have your moisturiser and lip plumper in one.

The Vaseline lip moisturizer is my fav. Don't use regular Vaseline, as it won't actually moisturizer them. I also am obsessed with all of the Nivea chapsticks. They taste so good too.

I use several different kinds (none of these are lip plumpers)
> blistex medicated lip balm: it's a lip protectant with spf 15. I like to use this when my lips are chapped because it's medicated and heals them quickly. it also smells nice (minty) and glides nicely on the lips.
> vaseline: it is very moisturizing and makes my lips look sort of glossy when applied so I can wear it when I'm out in public to make it look like I have something on my lips. mine doesn't have a scent or anything, but I'm pretty sure they have some other scents at stores now. this isn't my favorite, but definitely an essential imo.
> carmex: this used to be my favorite Chapstick before blistex. it's very moisturizing and heals the lips. it has a weird scent that's difficult to explain, but it's not bad/good. the reason it's not my favorite anymore is because when you apply it, it kind of stings a little if your lips are really chapped and it used to be somewhat painful to apply in my opinion. I haven't experienced that since (it was only when my lips were very chapped and I had sores)
