So I besides having an interview next week at Macy's and wanting great looking skin, I want a good face wash. My skin has been looking dull and tired. I'm on the tightest of budgets and want something I can use that I've already got. So my question is, what pantry/house typical items can I use to help my skin be more.. vibrant? not sure the word to use lol but thank you in advance!

You can use coconut oil and sugar to exfoliate, cleanse, and remove your makeup. Olive oil and sea salt crystals are one of my favorite acne spot treatments as well

I personally wouldn't try anything new because if it badly reacts with your skin, it'll end up looking worse for the interview

Witchhazel is very cheap at the grocery store and has a lot of good skin benefits, however I do agree with Hannah. Just be cautious so you don't get the opposite effect from what you are hoping for ☺️ good luck!

Thank you Natalie, I don't think I have coconut oil but it sounds like it would work great.
Great advice Hannah I wasn't even thinking about that.

Thank you Monet! I do have some I'll look into it! I don't have very sensitive skin and am not allergic to anything I've used so far so I will be sure to be cautious

I've heard honey makes for a good face wash.

I wouldn't use coconut oil or sugar to cleanse the skin. Coconut oil will remove makeup because it's an oil, but it's known for clogging pores and wouldn't actually clean your skin. Sugar would be a breeding ground for bacteria so definitely stay away from that. I honestly would say just buy a cheap face wash from Walmart and not waste those items on something that would possibly ruin your skin.

Honey might not be terrible because it does have antibacterial properties.

Yeah, I wouldn't do anything DIY as most of it harms your skin and makes things worse. Definitely stay away from grainy things like salt, baking soda, sugar etc. and lemon juice. It's best to just buy a cheap face wash from Walmart like Neutrogena or something.

Egg whites and olive oil wear it like a mask for 10 mins or when face starts to peel and peel it off after your will feel very smooth

Thank you ladies I think I'll just buy one and not take a risk.
