I always get comments at work that I look tired even though I'm not lol. I notice I only get that comment if I'm not wearing eye makeup. I have quite large eyes and I find my eyes stick out more than most people which I think can sometimes make them look a bit puffy or swollen even though that's how they normally are lol. I usually don't wear eye makeup to work, but does anyone have some suggestions on how I can look more awake?
I'll post a picture of myself at work now, I'm wearing a light amount of makeup.

I don't think you look tired. Keep doing you and just don't listen to people who say your tired. I mean, if your not tired, you probably don't look tired.

I would try all three of these products:

-Pixi brightening concealer in brightening peach
-NYX HD setting pressed banana powder
-bare minerals well rested powder concealer

All of these products make my under eyes bright!

Shauna, I have the exact same issue...even as a child. I find lighting makes a vast difference and obviously we can't control light a majority of the time. People suggest concealers, but even with the best concealing products on, my eyes maintain a certain look...it perhaps is the way they are set, as you say.
I think we cast shadows on our own face.

I know some hydrating and brightening/smoothing products, but they are so pricey. Even with concealer, I feel like there must be a trick to applying it with our type of eyes I'd be interested in Ms. Jacqueline's thoughts because although concealer helps, technique seems to be key here and I'm still trying to grasp it myself.
