Fun Makeup Challenge!!

I wanted to spice things up here and challenge you all to try something completely different requiring you to go out of your comfort zone. I'll use myself as an example. I love focusing on my skin and maintaining a low key eye and lip. I challenge myself to try out black lipstick with a super intense winged eye.

I will be posting my look tomorrow and I hope to see others take part. So my neutral eye gals...try something
daring. Bright eyed gals...try neutrals.

Please share your looks and products used directly to this post because I don't want to have it bogged down other threads.

This sounds so fun! I'm excited to see a dark lip on you, I think it'll look gorgeous! I have a party to go to tomorrow and I already have an entire makeup look in mind so I don't think I'll be able to participate in this challenge but I'll definitely be checking in to see everyone else (:

Challenge accepted!! it sounds so funny, great idea!
my make-up style Is all about the eyes, eyeliner, mascara and champagne-brown tones, I use only a lip butter, a peachy pink blush, higlighter and soft countur, natural brows.
here are the products I used:
a bb cream mixing my favorite face cream and a minerali fair foundation (jade minerals in "fair")
setting the foundation with jade minerals " matte powder"
in my crease and ad a blush jade minerals "blush 07"
for my brows I used rimmel London professional eyebrow pencile in "001 dark brown" and catrice cosmetics eye brow stylist in "020 date with ash-ton"
for my lips (the hardest part!) I mixed color-up long lasting eyeshadow "10" (I know it should go in the eye but I wanted to play and Try new things) by kiko Milano and "free spirit lips&cheeks n01" by kiko Milano.
This challenge Is so exciting!

Sounds fun I've been bored with my looks lately specially my eye makeup I feel like I always do the same thing. I was talking to my husband about the vib sale and he said "why do you want more makeup everything you buy is brown" lol he's referring to a couple of neutral eyeshadow palettes. So next time I purchase an eyeshadow palette I will go for something with a bit of color. I'll will try a different look and if I get a good picture I will post. I would love to see other peoples looks.

This will be fun. I'm definitely going to participate with a smokey/dark eye. I do a bold lip but never anything darker than a flesh tone brown.

Challenge accepted! since I'm all about my black wing liner (with neutral eyeshadow, sometimes) and a matte neutral lippie, I'm going to go for a shiny lip and I'm not sure for the eyes yet, any suggestions?

Gloria...that is one unique lip color you created. If I understand correctly you mixed an eyeshadow with a lip/cheek color? It reminds me of lippie I have from Giorgio Armani except it's a tad darker with a more purple base to it. A dirty lavender I call it.

This would be big for me since I don't wear makeup but I'm pregnant right now and I used a mayballine foundation which gave me an allergic reaction, now I'm scared to use makeup

Awww Sara! I'm sorry to hear that. :( Is there a lipstick shade you're curious about? I'm all too familiar with reactions while pregnant. I could only use Bobbi Brown foundation...everything else made me break out. You can still take part in the challenge...trying a new lippie maybe. You don't have to do a full face.

Shelley yes, that's right! with a lipbalm it became really comfortable and it last so many hours! in the photo it seems really lavender but in person it looks more gray taupe (I was trying to recreate a color near stone by mac, but I have to Try harder lol )

What should I do? :-) I love my colors and I also wear neutrals to work. On weekends I wear pretty bold colors on my eyes! I love bold lips too, and natural lips as well! I don't have black lipsticks though! I will try to join for sure but I am pretty excited to see everyone's look!

Aru, you could try a non lip colored lip! Just for fun. Maybe create one like Gloria did!
