So I have asked this before and took in some of the things but it's still bad. My skin seems to turn flakey as I put on my primer. It just gets worse after that. And it's not the primer cuz I've done it without and still flakey. I haves MUFEs face and body foundation which is water base and still drys me out. I also tried a new face wash that is suppose to hydrate but doesn't help. I've also tried to use Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel and that doesn't help. What should I do?
Also what's a good full coverage concealer (to cover scars and acne) for dry skin?

I've noticed a difference with my dryer patches from my seaberry oil and CeraVe moisturizing cream!

Are you exfoliating at least once a week?? It takes away the dead cells (flakes) and allows your moisturizer to penetrate the skin.

If you're willing to give it a try, I very much recommend Sonia Kashuk's tinted moisturizer. I think it would help with your flaking and dryness while also evening out your skin tone like a foundation would. I know it sounds unnervingly low in coverage, but I also have acne and scars, and after I use it, I just conceal and it all looks just as good as foundation. From my experiences with this level of peeling, very similar to what you're describing, using any type of foundation has only emphasized it, which is why a moisturizer like this would be a good thing to experiment with, at least in my opinion. I'm not sure what cleanser you're using, but I can tell you that both CeraVe's hydrating cleanser and moisturizer worked amazing for me! The moisturizing lotion is a game changer, it actually changed my skin type from dry to normal. The good news about the tinted moisturizer, should you try it, is that you don't need to wear primer anyways! It's built to be worn independently, so you don't have to worry about rubbing more things onto your already peeling skin. As far as concealer goes, I'm not sure about full coverage, but I remember NYX's HD concealer having at least decent coverage with no peeling emphasis. You can always try green concealer to really cancel out the acne scars, that might help. I also heard good things about Hard Candy Glamoflauge, but I don't know what skin type it's for. Also, if you can splurge a bit, Mac Fix + can help your makeup look more dewy, which will make your skin look hydrated (in an awesome way) and less dried out. Above all else, never ever pick at the peeling, regardless of how difficult that is. I'm sure you already know that, but I figured it was worth mentioning! Oh, and you might notice an improvement after daily sunscreen use. Cerave makes a great facial sunscreen that will help protect your skin from sun damage, which can cause flushing and peeling and general grossness all year round. I always hear that Jojoba oil is great for moisturizing without clogging pores, although I'm not sure where to get it, so I can't speak to that personally. Best of luck!

My dry patches stopped when I started using serums such as G?nifique or ANR. I recently found out about Rosa Artica by Kiehl's. It works much better than my previous routine which was using Clinique products.

Also, extremely important is chemical exfoliation. It's going to remove all the dead skin that is already there. Microdelivery peels have worked for me, but I don't have many options where I live, maybe you can find even better.

Might seem kind of simple but I've noticed a big difference in my skin when I put on a ton of lotion on my face. Like way more than the recommended amount and then I wait until it is completely absorbed to do makeup.

I have combo skin but I also get dry patches so once a week I use murad smoothing polish, it's an exfoliator, then I use my clarisonic on top of that with a hydrating cleanser & then use embryolisse Lait Crème Concentre. My makeup goes on really smooth.
